This episode of Start the Music! I get to geek out a little with Doctor Who composer Dominic Glynn. We talk about theme tunes, UK techno, and about being a musician spanning the bridge between analogue & digital. For those of you who like Jonathan Coulton, Weird Al and comedy songs, you’ll want to hear this… In this episode I talk to musician and cartoonist Peter Chiykowski, known on the interwebz as Rock, Paper, Cynic thus fulfilling my CanCon requirement at least twice over. We talk about Canadian comic conventions, the Weakerthans and John K Samson and how a comedy song is like an oil spill.* Credit to Peter for that metaphor.
